Jazz’s Ingles is out for the season after tearing ACL
Utah Jazz announced this Monday that forward Joe Ingles will be sidelined indefinitely after tearing his ACL.
Joe Ingles was examined Monday by the Utah Jazz medical staff and the MRI revealed a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee with no other structural damage. Ingles will remain out indefinitely with surgery taking place in the coming weeks.https://t.co/lwAX3J8KUw
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Ingles is expected to undergo surgery within the next two weeks, and his recovery will extend into the 2022-23 season.
On surgery: Ingles will need to get a range of motion back in his left knee before surgery and that could take more than two weeks, but it's a fluid timeline. Recovery and a return to play will certainly extend into the 2022-2023 season.
