The Raptors play host to the Jazz at the Amalie Arena this Friday night!
The Utah Jazz have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost four of their last six games and they will be hopping to bounce back after last night’s 131-122 road loss to the Wizards. Donovan Mitchell is leading the team in scoring with averages of 25.1 points per game and dishing 5.4 assists. Jordan Clarkson is averaging 17.7 points and Rudy Gobert is adding a double-double with 14.4 points and 13.5 rebounds. Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic and Joe Ingles are scoring double-digit figures per night.
As a team, Utah are shooting 46% from the field and grabbing 47.8 rebounds per night.
Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors are on free fall lately as they’ve lost 8 of their past 9 games – they will be looking to bounce back against the best-record team in the West. Fred VanVleet is averaging 19.9 points and 6.5 assists per game and Pascal Siakam is adding 19.8 points and 7.4 rebounds. Kyle Lowry is scoring 17.8 points and serving 7.5 dimes per night. Chris Boucher and OG Anunoby are the remaining double-digit scorer for the North!
As a team, the Raptors are shooting 44% from the field and grabbing 41.2 rebounds per game.
Mike Conley could return for the Jazz after sitting out last night which could help the team get off to a better start after their struggles last night. The Raptors need a win – things are not going well for Nick Nurse and matching up with the best team on the West will be a challenge. I´ll stick with the Jazz.
