The Suns and Grizzlies meet this Saturday night in NBA action at the FedEx Forum.
The Phoenix Suns have been in great shape lately as they’ve won 10 of their last 12 games and they will be looking to stay hot after blowing past the Pelicans in 132-114 road win last night. Devin Booker is averaging 24.3 points while Chris Paul is adding 17.1 points and 8.6 assists per night. Deandre Ayton is averaging 14 points and 12.4 rebounds and Mikal Bridges is scoring 13.9.
As a team, the Suns shooting 47% from the field and grabbing 44 rebounds per game.
Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in decent form themselves as they’ve won 4 of their past 66 games and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after taking down the Pistons in a 109-95 home win last night. Ja Morant is averaging 19.4 points and 8 assists per game. Dillon Brooks is dishing 15 points and Kyle Anderson is adding 13.8 points. Jonas Valanciunas is averaging a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds per night.
As a team, the Grizzlies are shooting 46% from the field and grabbing 44 rebounds.
This has a great potential to be a great matchup. The Suns, currently ranked #19th in offense and 4th in defense, have been the more consistent team and they are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games playing on zero days ‘rest. On the other half, the Grizzlies are ranked #18th in offense and #16th in defense, will be looking to stretch their winning stake to 3. Although Memphis have seven players scoring double-digit figures per night, they will not count with Brooks, who have been ruled out for this match. I’ll go with Phoenix on this one.
