The Celtics and the Jazz meet forces at the Vivint Arena this Tuesday night.
The Boston Celtics have been in a bit of a rut lately as they’ve lost four of their past six games and they will be looking to bounce back. Jayson Tatum leads the team in scoring with 27 points per night and Jaylen Brown is averaging 26.4 points. Marcus Smart is averaging 13.1 points and Kemba Walker is averaging 4 assists per game.
As a team, the Celtics are shooting 46% from the field and grabbing 44 rebounds per game.
Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz are on fire as they’ve won 15 of their last 16 games and they will be aiming for their fifth straight win. Donovan Mitchell is averaging 23.5 points per game and Jordan Clarkson is adding 17.6 points. Mike Conley is dishing 16.5 points and 5.8 assists per night and Bojan Bogdanovic is scoring 15.9 points. Rudy Gobert is averaging a double-double with 13.5 rebounds and 13.3 points.
As a team, the Jazz are shooting 45% from the field and grabbing 49.5 rebounds per game.
The Celtics have struggled without Marcus Smart and they will be looking to bounce back after shooting 35% in the loss against the Suns last Sunday. Meanwhile, the Jazz have been the hottest team in the league and they’re getting it done on both ends of the floor, but they will have to play this one without Conley who is sitting out with a hamstring injury. This should be close, but I am sticking with the Jazz.
