The Bulls and Mavs meet this Sunday in NBA action at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
The Chicago Bulls are coming into this match with a four-game losing streak. They are averaging 116.8 points on 47.6 percent shooting and allowing 121.6 points on 47.8 percent shooting. Zach LaVine is averaging 28.3 points and 4.8 assists per game, while Coby White is averaging 17.7 points and 5.5 rebounds.
As a team, the Bulls are shooting 38.5% from beyond the arc and 80% from the free-throw line.
Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have won six from their last nine games. They are averaging 109.4 points on 45.3% shooting and allowing 105.1 points on 43.9% shooting. Luka Doncic is on an MVP level averaging 27.5 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game. Tim Hardaway Jr. is averaging 18.7 points per game. Kristaps Porzingis started late this season, only played the last two games, averaging 15 points and 7 rebounds.
As a team, the Mavericks are shooting 35% from beyond the arc and 73.8 percent from the free-throw line.
The Mavs are a better team and with Porzingis back, they will for sure win more battles on the board and have extra firepower! But a decent Bulls team that keeps covering numbers despite the outright losses. The Bulls also beat the Mavericks earlier this month by 10 points while shooting 36 percent from the field and knocking down 13 threes. Mavs should win, but this is a lot of free points to give a Bulls team that can hang most nights.
